About Us

Founded in 2008, Matprop Technical Services Private Limited has been a trusted leader in delivering technical services for the marine industry, with a collective team experience of more than 17 years. Over time, we have expanded our expertise from building advanced marine vessels and zero-emission waterborne transportation to addressing one of India’s critical ecological challenges: aquatic weed management and pond weed removal services.

Check out Matprop’s aquatic management services that support India’s mission to rejuvenate rivers and water bodies under the Namami Gange Programme.

Our Expertise in Aquatic Weed Control

Matprop specializes in comprehensive aquatic weed control solutions for lakes, rivers, reservoirs, and ponds across India. We provide:

  1. Pond weed removal services for small farm ponds and large water bodies.
  2. Duckweed removal and blanket weed control using both mechanical and biological methods.
  3. Mechanical pond weed removal techniques for submerged weeds like hydrilla and chara.
  4. Expert consultation on pond weed control products and herbicides.

With a strong collaborative team skilled in marine engineering, hydrology, and ecosystem restoration, we ensure healthy aquatic ecosystems by tackling invasive weeds while maintaining ecological balance.

Innovative Water-Energy Solutions

In line with India’s demand for sustainable energy and water management, Matprop is developing Nature-based Solutions that convert municipal waste and invasive aquatic weeds into biomolecules and hydrogen. These circular economy initiatives help reduce pollution, restore ecosystems, and support India’s transition to clean energy.

Commitment to Sustainability

Matprop’s work directly aligns with national efforts to restore water bodies and promote ecological balance. For example, the Government of India’s Namami Gange Programme emphasizes river rejuvenation and aquatic ecosystem management.

Our Mission

We aim to become India’s leading regenerative Water-Energy sector integrator and a global leader in Nature-based climate adaptation strategies.
